Yesterday was election day and a sad, sad day in Swedish history. The Sweden Democrats, a right wing populist, anti-immigration political party, got 13% of the Swedish votes which makes them the third largest party in the country. My heart breaks. Please remember that election day isn't the only time we can stand up for equality and human rights, it's an ongoing battle.
